If you’re expanding your home or adding an additional space, you may need an electrical panel upgrade. Newer electrical panels are designed with safety in mind to provide you with all the power you need. If you are renovating or remodeling a home that is more than 20 years old, you will most likely need an electric panel upgrade. Older electrical panels aren’t equipped to handle the amount of electricity used in modern homes, and over time electrical terminations and circuit breakers can become loose and become a fire hazard. Certain brands and types of electrical panels have been found to cause fires in some instances. Consult with Steve Cavenee to determine if your panel is safe, or if you need an electrical panel upgrade.
